Canadians "Liberal and Hedonistic"

The CBC Makes It Sound Like a Good Thing.....But Not As You Think!
Finally the tides have changed in the Canadian political landscape. Censorship in the CBC may be finally over. During the regime of liberal governments in Canada, this would not have even make the headlines but rather be filed away in some censorship bin where all of the other articles would have been. Liberal media may die as we know it. Though that would be a good thing, that would mean the end of my blogging days as I know it! The "philosophy of 'cultural Marxism'" as Paul Weyrich states can be explained in the Book of the Month for January which discusses its origins in the Canadian scene. This will also help you understand about why he "says Canadians are 'so liberal and hedonistic'". I am glad that this came out into the spotlight instead of a socialist censorship pile as what would have happened in the past. This shows that others are wanting change in not just our parliament, but in all spheres of Canadian government and life. The CBC makes this article sound like a good thing and has none of its usual bias that I must comment on. This is nothing like I expected and I am sure it is not what you were expecting at all. You know change is coming when the CBC gets a story right. This analysis from Paul Weyrich could tell us plenty about the Canadian politics but is it too late? The current government is a right of centre minority that has been forced to more further to the left in the past. Has this commentary from Mr.Weyrich come just at the nick of time and lead to the dawn of a new era or is it too late to change forty years of corruption.
Only time will tell.

Weyrich is not a conservative. He is a Fascist. I am a conservative. Are you? In the grand history of 20th Century politics, only the NAZIS used the term "Cultural Bolshevism." It is a nonsensical term, with no basis in modern philosophy. It retains a core of anti-semitism, and is thus, given Canada's role in defeating Fascism, un-Canadian.

And another thing:

My conservatism does not confuse my Country with another Country. If you do not stand for Canadian traditions and laws, then you are not a Canadian Conservative.

If you are an admirer of all things American, then you are just an annexationist. The same as in Macdonald's day ...

Aeneas the Editor,
Thank you for your comments. Are you trying to accuse Weyrich as a Nazi? World War II was based against the ultra-left wing of the world. Non-smoking laws, gun control and political censorship were all Nazi policies that Canada was against and are now slowly re-emerging into the Canadian landscape. What your liberal friends do not tell you is that Nazi was short for National Socialist German Workers Party. It was these restrictions that Canada fought against the socialist left for to protect our freedoms. "My conservatism does not confuse my Country with another Country." Did you invent conservatism? How is being conservative un-Canadian? You make it sound like a birth right that all Canadians must be socialists. Conservativism is a philosophy just like existentialism or any other theory. The father of conservatism is Edmund Burke, born in Ireland, promoted his philosophy in the British House of Commons. Paul Weyrich abides by this philosophy and commented on the situation on Canada. Does it matter where he is from? Are you a racist because he is American? It is easy for liberals to comment because they are responsible for slowly removing Canadian culture and values. If you would have read the book of the month like I recommended, you would understand what I am talking about, but I guess your liberal ignorance said otherwise.

Am I a conservative? I know what I am. But your labeling of people and stereotyping make me think otherwise about your political beliefs.

Do not comment on conservatism when you do not know about it yourself!

Thanks for the comment again.

Thanks Aeneas for the warm reception! I agree with many but not all of Weyrich's writings. Does that make me a nazi? Funny, I come from a conservative Irish Catholic American family that had 17 people serve in World War 2. We despise both Nazis, anti-semites, Communists, Socialists, and other extremists. My relatives proudly fought for democracy in WW1, WW2, and Korea so just question my democratic credentials. I am a traditionalist on social issues. I support the death penalty, gun ownership, and school prayer. I oppose abortion and gay marriage. The same traditional social policies that existed in Canada until the 1960's.On economic policy, I believe that low taxes are good while socialism and overregulation are bad(Ex: Modern Europe). I also support the actions in Iraq and Afghanistan. I don't do this out of a lust for land but because I believe that evil must be confronted. As a great conservative by the name of Edmund Burke said "The only thing necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing." I am a conservative who is proud to see most of my countrymen embracing this ideology. I simply hope that my conservative friends in the north can finally achieve some successes.
