Has it come to this? Quebec Butts Out
What Is Happening Here?
Now Quebec has outlawed smoking just as its liberal Ontario counterpart. When has smoking become a crime while serious offenders are set free? It seems very strange that one is more accepted then the other. The aim of this initiative is to "protect the health of non-smokers" according to Dominique Breton. How can this be so when in the same article it states that eighty five percent of people who go to these establishments do smoke. Taking this fact that it also states that outside of the bar scene, one in four Quebecers are smokers. Who are these liberals trying to impress? They may even try to claim that it is the will of the people. It is time again for the truth police on this one. Only 29% of Quebecers supported a complete ban on smoking in restaurants. What is happening here? This can not be for the will of the people but of liberals trying to tell people what is best for them. This is similar to a previous article on "Time for the Right" about the "Fat Police" and their tactics to oppress whomever they pleased. This is very unfortunate that this is occuring but I guess that the "Smoke Police" can have just as much power as the "Fat Police" can in this country. No matter what the outcome, this will leave Quebecers with more money in their pockets due to the outlaw of smoking but having to pay double back to liberals to pay the "Smoke Police" to enforce these laws. If they spent this much time and effort on murders and sex offences, we would have it made!

Second hand smoke is deadly.
So is driving to work.
Ya but you dont drive to work on the sidewalk? why because you can hurt people so there is a law aganst it. Same with smokeing if you wanna kill yourself fine dont bring me down with you, and here in London ontario a local bar there was someone enjecting people with HIV, so I guess thats ok too.
Is enforcing harmless smoke from tobacco that is deemed to be harmful by spin doctors more important then curbing murders and sex crimes? The article elaborates on two points.
-This is a law being forced on by a liberal government to please a few people like you even though the vast majority of Quebecers actually are against the ban.
-By doing this, liberal governments put more emphasis on political correctness then protecting democracy and keeping violent offenders off the street.
Thank you for your comment, next time, take an elementary school course in grammer and spelling and only post back when you learn how to write and even spell a sentence. How can you comment on smoking when you do not even know how to spell it!
